After they are interested and have shown some desire for your offer you need to move them on to action by providing them with all the information they need to make a purchase decision including pricing and terms of sale (returns policy). A conversion funnel is a marketing term that describes the process of converting a website visitor into a customer. The goal of any conversion funnel is to maximize the number of potential customers who convert into paying customers.

The four stages in a conversion funnel are:

- Awareness: This stage is about getting people to know about your product or service. - Consideration: This stage is about making people want to buy your product or service. 

- Conversion: This stage is about getting people to actually make a purchase from you. 

- Retention: This stage is about keeping your customer happy and coming back for more purchases in the future.

The goal of any website marketing strategy should be to get visitors through all four stages of the conversion funnel and make them happy with the final outcome (retention).
